Using Daily Log

Daily Log is a personal productivity tool for capturing and organizing thoughts. You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You are responsible for all content you create and store using the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity or to violate the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service beyond what is permitted by law

Your content

You retain full ownership of everything you create in Daily Log. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

When you use the optional sync feature, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the sync service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

Accounts and authentication

Daily Log works without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google to enable cross-device sync, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We authenticate through Google OAuth and do not store your Google password.

Availability and changes

We strive to keep Daily Log available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. If we make changes that materially reduce the functionality you rely on, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

Data and privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, store, and protect your data. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Since Daily Log stores data locally on your device by default, we strongly recommend using the sync feature or maintaining your own backups to prevent data loss.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension or closing the web app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the sync service if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device. Server-side synced data may be deleted after termination. You can request deletion of your server-side data at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
